Fabric
Whether you’re looking to wow guests or feel cozy and at-home (or both!), we have high-quality fabric options to create the look and feel you want. In order to experience what fabric best fits your vision, stop by our shop to see and feel samples from Sunbrella, Serge Ferrari, Tempotest, and more. We can include quilting designs, such as diamonds, or an embroidered logo to make your upholstery uniquely yours.
Framing
For interior upholstery, it is common to have upholstery frames built from marine lumber, which is treated for outdoor environments. If your interior sees a lot of moisture, this will break down the wood and you may want to consider a synthetic frame. King StarBoard® is the original marine-grade high-density polyethylene sheet and the industry standard. Just like building a house, you want to build on a strong foundation, and that starts with quality framing.
Foam
The foam density and quality make up the kind of cushion you’ll have. The quality determines how the foam regains its shape or “memory.” Sometimes a cushion may feel hard, but you’re actually “bottoming out” and feeling the frame underneath. This means you would want a denser foam that will hold you up off the wooden or plastic bottom. Layering different densities of foam can help achieve a soft cushion while proving support.
